【幻界 Phantom Realm】

在傳統文化與當代藝術的交會之處，存在著一個介於真實與虛構之間的世界——幻界。

「幻界」是一個介於真實與虛幻之間的場域。奧直子以陶瓷為媒材，透過簍空結構揭示「存在同時也是空洞」的矛盾本質。作品表面粗礪而堅硬，卻隱隱流露出柔和的內在；它們既具象又抽象，既真實又如幻影，挑戰我們對形式與意義的既定理解。

奧直子的創作並非單純的形象再現，而是藉由陶瓷特有的張力，揭示存在的不確定性與無常性。觀者在作品中得以感受到矛盾的共存，並在其中重新凝視生命的深度與複雜。

引領人們穿越模糊的邊境，在真與幻的交界中，尋找屬於自己的答案。

At the intersection of traditional culture and contemporary art lies a world suspended between reality and illusion — Phantom Realm

“The Illusory Realm” is a space that exists between the real and the imagined.

Using ceramics as her medium, Naoko Oku reveals the paradoxical essence of existence that it is both form and void through intricate hollowed structures. Her works, rough and rigid on the surface, subtly reveal a gentle inner spirit; they are both figurative and abstract, tangible yet dreamlike, challenging our fixed notions of form and meaning.

Naoko Oku creations are not mere representations of imagery, but rather, through the inherent tension of ceramics, they unveil the uncertainty and impermanence of existence. Viewers encounter the coexistence of contradictions within the works, and are invited to re-examine the depth and complexity of life.

Guiding us across blurred boundaries, her art leads us to the threshold where truth and illusion converge and to the search for our own place within it.
